Security Measures & Confidentiality Standards

At Aeqvitas we understand the absolute need for confidentiality. The sensitive nature of the information of the end client and the professional responsibility that our clients are under make it pertinent that the highest standards of confidentiality and security are maintained.

We take the following steps to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and security:

 

 
  • All of our employees sign Confidentiality agreements with Aeqvitas.
  • We enter into confidentiality agreements with our clients ourselves.
  • All our employees are educated about the professional responsibility standards in the US especially the concept of Attorney-Client privilege
  • All of our work stations have computers with restricted rights, therefore making the access to personal email or surfing the internet impossible.
  • All incoming and outgoing emails are tracked.
  • Employees are not allowed to use cell phones, pagers and memory sticks while in the Office building or premises.
  • We maintain a paperless work environment, thus ensuring that no data can be carried out I hard copies either
  • Our entire facility has restricted access. Employees and authorized personnel cannot enter the offices without a key card issued by Aeqvitas.
  • We have security guards on each floor of our facility physically guarding and monitoring the exits and entrances
  • An extensive portion of the training program for our employees explains to them that we follow the same confidentiality standards that our clients do.
